Get inspired with Instagram
While inspiration can often strike at random, it doesn’t hurt to keep an eye on the experts when seeking ideas for your wedding. Before you had to rely on stuffy wedding planners, but the great thing about our world of social media is that just by browsing common apps like Instagram, you can get all sorts of brilliant concepts for your own affair.
Here are some of the accounts I personally peruse in order to explore options and obtain fresh ideas for the celebrations I help plan.
Look to the experts
What I really love, though, is checking in on wedding-obsessed folk like myself. Planner Rhiannon Nicole always has great additions on her account, while the eclectic Wedding Chicks showcases pure romance. If you’re looking for the perfect honeymoon destination, stick to Entouriste, a selection of shots taken by the world’s best travel photographers.
Stores and purveyors galore
Another Insta-option I love is just to follow major stores or boutiques that cater to the wedding industry. If you’re dilly-dallying about the dress, the accounts kept up by chains like David’s Bridals, reality show Say Yes to the Dress’s Kleinfeld Bridal, and the lesser-known, but equally dazzling, Little White Dress Bridal Shop are chock-full of beautiful designs not just for you, but also for your bridesmaids.
Many purveyors of wedding-related products and services also keep visual chronicles, like Rose & Ruby Paper Co., a swell spot for invitation ideas, or San Francisco’s Knead to Make Bakery. Likewise, if you can’t hire celeb wedding photographer Corbin Gurkin, perhaps you can recreate some of his most romantic shots at your own affair.
Inspiration is just around the corner. Download Instagram and start following these great accounts in order to find the perfect ideas for your perfect wedding with a flick of your finger.
