A walk down the aisle in Stuart Weitzman

When my cousin Emma got married a few years back, one of her biggest priorities was to find designer shoes for less than £300. And she found just what she was looking for when she stumbled across a pair of Stuart Weitzman stilettos.

High-end style

Stuart Weitzman is a favourite among celebrities, providing a pair of one-of-a-kind jewelled shoes to one lucky Oscar nominee to wear to the Academy Awards each year. Actress Laura Harring, nominated for her role in Mulholland Drive, was the first lucky lady to show off a pair of these ‘million dollar’ shoes in 2002. His more basic shoes are also a hit amongst the stars. Jennifer Lawrence is among the many celebrities sighted wearing them.

Bridal shoes by Stuart Weitzman

Although the designer doesn’t offer a separate bridal collection, he does offer a line of evening shoes that has plenty of elegant wedding-worthy footwear. If I were lucky enough to be tying the knot this season, there are two pairs I’d have to choose between. The Chantelle in ivory Chantilly lace is a not-too-high open-toed pump sprinkled with Swarovski crystals, the perfect choice to complete a Cinderella look! But the Platinum Noir XFactor with its skinny ankle strap would be just the shoe for upping the glam factor. While brides on a tight budget will find it hard to splurge on this designer, they do offer several shoes in their evening collection that are below £300.
